Coral ID
I have this coral in my tank and I'm trying to find out what kind it is. Anyone have any idea? I think it is some type of encrusting montipora. http://reefcentral.com/gallery/showp...t=1&thecat=500 http://reefcentral.com/gallery/showp...t=1&thecat=500

Hydnophora Pilosa sound right? I looked it up and it looks like it. Anyone know if it is as rare as I've read?

next time you try a close-up use a broom handle as a support/ mono-pod. You will get a much cleaner pic.
