Unhappy flooding skimmer

hi everone i just installed a ets revolution 500/but it just fills the collection cup with water and never collects foam /i use the pump reccomended with the unit try too adjust the intake valve on the unit but nothing works /does anyone have this skimmer / ps it also leaks and the company is of no help

dont own one but post some pics, they always help out to cure a problem. what is the water level in the skimmer, did you rinse out the skimmer with hot water prior to installation, this usualy gets rid of a lot of oils that are in the skimmer from manufacturing.

I own an evo 500.I run it with a sen 900.Is your set up in the sump like mine?

Hey there, are you using stress coat slime in your waater changes or top off water? That over flowed my skimmer. Is there a way to adjust the height of your collection cup. Good luck

either your gate/output valve is not all the way open or your skimmer is sitting too far under the water level in your sump......

put something under your skimmer to raise it up out of the water, or lower the waterlevel in your sump, but make sure the gate valve is wide open first

thanks for the replies /my skimmer is not in my sump its connected to the bulk head of the amiracle wet dry sump the water level is not very high /sorry im working on pictures but i know the gate is wide open /my skimmers water exit is even with the the entrance of the wet dry /is that a problem/ thanks for helping
