i can't decide between getting the aqua c remora (not the pro version, it's too expensive) or this one (the excaliber). the reason i chose these two is because they both are compatible with skimmer/bubble trap combo boxes, even tho the excaliber isn't pictured with one, it is included (read the description).

If you're going HO on a budget, I can't recommend coralife highly enough.
I'd get the 220, better pump. Mine works great, and super quiet

I would get a used remora Pro. I use one on my 58 gallon and it does a great job. I upgraded from a regular remora a while ago and the remora pro w/ mag 3 pulls out 2X the skimmate that the regular did. I am so impressed with the results I am upgrading my regualr remora on my 40 gallon to the remora pro w/ mag 3. I just purchased a used one this weekend so I will be upgrading to the remora pro as soon as it comes in the mail. You can usually find a good used remora pro for around $150. I got one of mine for $90 from a local reefer.
