Is this normal?

My rock has been curing about 1 month and nitrates are almost gone. I have had this green algae come on my rocks in the last few days. Is this normal? Will it go away. I added a critter pack to it today. Here is a pic. Jim

being its a new tank it should clear up on its own. it looks like hair algae. adding the snails will help. nice aquascaping by the way. its going to look awesome when the tank matures!

How long should this hair algae last. It has been there now for a week and a half. Jim

Monitor nutrients. Make sure your cycle is completely finished.

Good flow.

Good cleanup crew.

It will take care of itself over time. You're looking at weeks, likely.

Go slow and take your time.
