Help, loose coral!

I need advice on attaching a pulsing zenia back onto a rock. It somehow got knocked off the rock it was attached to and I found it today floating around the tank. For now, I've stashed it in the refugium for safekeeping.

How do I re-attach the thing to a rock?? I've got many small rocks and bits of branch coral I can use, just need to know how to do it??

He's a small guy, about the size of a pea when all closed up.

TIA

D

Use a rubberband or superglue gel and attach it onto the rock.

I want to remind you that we have young ones that frequent this site. We do not condone loose corals or any other promiscuous advents.

However, a little super glue gel will keep those flossies in their place.

I use "tulle" netting that is actually made for floral decorating. The holes in this netting are the right size to allow the polyps to find their way through. I just place the netting over the xenia and ruber band it around a small rock, in a week I remove the netting and the coral is attached.
