It is supposed to be very good; however, you need to be careful and make sure you do not overdose it as that can cause real problems.

Is it the same as regular copper, or is it something different?? The bottle says to use at 2.5 ppm copper. One ounce per each 20 gallons of water. So I guess it must be real copper..

I believe its copper sulphate if memory serves. I recently added it to my 220 FOWLR tank and killed all of my LR. All 180lbs of it. Bad advice and lack of research on my part. Live and learn.

I have been using kick ich in my reef tank for about 2-3 weeks. No luck at all with that.. But thanks. I lost a couple fish hoping it would soon kick in and work, but it never did. So I figured it is copper time in a quarantine tank.

The fish I was treating died. Right now I have started another round of ich treatment using kick-ich but I am planning on increasing the dosage slightly. It seems that the people that have had luck with kick-ich have had to overdose a little. I am currently treating my MT with Kick ich and my QT tank with coppersafe. Too many fish to place all in QT.
