why not Cpvc?

i was talking to the guy at the lfs about plumbing my tank, he kept saying use pvc, i asked if cpvc was ok he said not to use it, can someone give me a reason why? its good enough for house water. why not salt?

I've used cpvc without problems to make spray bars. However afaik it only comes in smaller diameters, usually not applicable to reef tanks.

usualy isnt as durable either. i dunno why
