what kind of crab is this?
I was curring some LR and found a neat little crab. It's body is round and about the size of a dime or a little bigger. It's shell is greenish gray. It's legs are brownish and it's pichers are dark green. Anybody know what this is? Is it going to be reef safe?
Thank you, Willyreef |

Unless you have a pic, its hard to tell.
My only guess (judging by the green color) would an an emerald crab. Post some pics. Stewie |

sounds like an emerald crab to me as well. they are considered safe. but with any crab they may munch some corals. mine have never bothered any coral or fish. you can google some images, i have one or two on my site (little red house).
