Problem with Red Sea Ozonizer
Hi all. Recently my ozonizer started reading very high ORP readings in my tank. I figured it just needed a good cleaning. Well, I have soaked it in vinegar overnite and I am still getting ORP readings of over 500 which is not possible as I have a 500 gallon tank and this is just a 100 sized unit I use for polishing. I get a reading of around 450 when I put the probe in tap water. I'm guessing that the probe just needs replacing. Does that sound reasonable? Secondly, does anyone know where I can buy just the replacement probe at online? I have checked several sites that sell Red Sea, but they only list the whole unit and not the probe. Any help pointing me in the right direction would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

I believe this probe will work. I would call to verify though.
Probe According to the Red Sea manual the Aquazone uses a Reagecon Platinum Ag/AgCl electrode. This probe seems to meet this criteria. I would just verify the probe with calibration fluid. |
