Is My Skimmer Working Correctly
I just moved my stuff over to my new sump and in the move I cleaned my skimmer real good, now its hooked up and its not pulling any gunk, is it possible it has to break in again cause it was cleaned. also how much water can it be in and still work?
its an asm g3 in about 10 inches of water. |

yea, it needs to break in again. How do you like the ASM? I need a new skimmer, just got a sea clone right now and I think the pump is about shot.

asm's are great! I would personally say its a euro reef with thinner acrylic, which in my opinion dosent matter, My LFS switched from the over priced euro to the asm, Ive used the g3 on my 120 for about a year and I love it. Double the power with them though since they are less expensive.
