Pump for Phosban reactor
I was thinking of buying a 150 gram Phosban reactor and it said that the gph should be no more than 80. Would the maxijet 400 (max flow 105) be powerful enough for this reactor if I hung it on the back of my sump? I believe my sump is about 15 inches high.
I tried the head loss calculator and I had 0 GPH as the result and that can't be right. There will only be 1 ball valve in between and 1 90 degree elbow. |

I think they actually recommend the MJ400. It should be fine for you.

MJ 400 would work. I have mine about 8 inches down in the sump and still have to dial it back a bit.

You might consider one of these, they are adjustable.
