Question Can the 6" loc-line segments be pulled apart?

Locline is sold in 6" segments, but what if I want to use a smaller section? The 6" segments come with 6 individual pieces, I want to use sections comprised of only 2 individual pieces. I've been assuming that I can take the 6" segments apart, but figured I'd better ask before I buy them and then find out the don't come apart. Anyone ever do this?

Cool. I want to make a Calfo style manifold for the return from my closed loop, but I don't want the nozzels to be sticking out from the sides 6 inches. Shorten it up, it'll work great! Thanks for the reply.

Er, do I need the special loc-line pliers, or can loc-line be separated/attached by hand?
