rio hyperflow pump
MY RIO hyperflow pump every so often kicks out air bubbles
is it time for a replacement or what causes this??? |

does the water level change in the return area where the pump is housed?

this is a rio hyperflow powerhead... (sorry) 550gph 30w RIO RHF
in the main display tank. every so often it shoots out lots of tiny air bubbles and its stopping my tank from being crystal clear. btw: salwater system water should be crystal clear correct? |

lol its hard to see a salt water tank that is crystal clear.. fish poop, you feed, there is always something in the water...
if youare using this pump for circulation how far is it from the surface.. is there a "tornado" of air above it sometimes? if not i cant see where a submerged pump gets air to blow bubbles?
