Poly Filter's & Water Clarity ?
Will Poly Filter's help in water clarity, or is their something better out their for this? I currently have a HOB filter w/ an extra media slot on my 55 gallon tank, & want to try to make the water as clear as possible. Will purchaseing these help me out? Or will the poly filter just take out things I put into the tank, I.E. medications, supplements, and these sort of things ???
Here is the link to look at what I'm talking about; Poly Filter Would like to also hear the pro's & con's of using this on my HOB filter. Thanks for the input.

they are very good, just make sure you switch it out before it gets too gunked up.......i use one to stop bubbles from making it through baffles and to clean

depends.......
50 gets clogged faster but cleans better, visa versa for the 100. ....so it comes down to how often you are wanting to change it out

It DID help but a BIGGER clarity was ozone; about 5 fold. I would just buy a skimmer or larger one and just use ozone.
