Nubie Question Water Change
I have an immature 36 gallon tank and am going to do my first water change. How long do you usualy leave the new water agitate before adding it to the tank? Also should I change my carbon filters after that? i have had the tank operating for about 6 weeks. Thanks in advance...

I let mine agitate with a mag 5 for about 12-24 hours
The mag 5 heats the water for me so I don't need a heater for it I change my carbon filters monthly. make sure to rinse the carbon filter in water before adding it to your system to get the carbon dust off it..
