need help choosing a pump for 75g

im in the process of setting up a new tank. its 75g and im planning on having a sump/refugium below it. what kind of pump will i need for the return? the returning water will be split into two different spots in the tank. i have a rio 2500. would that be adequate? thanks for the help.

depending what your overflow is rated at you'll have to figure that out so you don't flood your tank, do you have a sump ??
for my 75, i have a cpr overflow box , and i run a quiet 1 4000hh that pump is rated at 980 gph and never had a problem
so you need to find out the gph your overflow box is rated at and go less then that for your pump, make sure that you subtract the head loss. the distance from the bottom to the overflow box, you can use the chart on this web site to figure that out.
