Keeping critters in sump
What does everyone use to keep crabs, snails etc from climbing into the pump intake line?

my return pump is in it's own section of the sump so no livestock can get close to it, most pumps come with a sponge filter so thats what i would use. good luck.

I'm running external pumps and am trying to find a good material to use as a screen either to keep snails out of the last chamber or to just keep them out of the return line intake.
Any suggestions? |
