Type of Salt?

I know there are threads on this, so sorry for making a new one but I havent been able to get the Search to work.

I used to use Instant Ocean and I guess had normal results. No problems.

My question is has anyone changed from one brand and noticed better results...mixed easier or anything like that.

I've been looking into reef crystals because of the extra minerals in there...but not sure if the extra part is a good or bad thing.

So what do you guys/girls mainly use....should i just stick with the instant ocean...or change.

PS....my tank is not setup as of yet...I'm doing a new tank

Yes...live rock. Going to be a Reef. Around 80lbs rocks and 5-7inch sandbed

I tried IO but I didn't like it. It didn't seem to desolve as fast as Coralife and my tank seemed clearer/happier with Coralife. If that makes any sense or it may just be me.

So its Coralife for me.

I have tried them all, lol and still stick with IO or Reef Crystals. I did NOT like Kent or Oceanic.

Tropic Marin Pro. Best salt i've ever used. All the coral polyps extend more and look better when I use TMP.

I use coralife, and haven't had any problems... well ones that had to do with salt anyway. And as an added bonus it comes with a super cool tshirt in the 5 gallon bucket.
