PC PAR values?
I need to replace my 65w PC's, but I would like to know what brand to go with. Has anyone tested the PAR values of any PC bulbs? Where is the cheapest to buy? Also, where is a good place to get individual reflectors for these?
Please post any opinions. By the way, they are stright pin config. |

Hey, I too would like to know the par value of PCs. Perhaps someone has done a little test before?
The coralife bulbs are really good am not sure if those are straight pins. Not sure if PCs with individual reflectors would do any good because the bulbs itself are bent. Mike |

grim did a test on PAR values of at least one pc bulb. it was very very low compared to t5ho and mh.
as far as individual reflecotrs for PC, well, the bulb design does not really make running a parabolic worthwhile. the bulb will block the reflections.
