What is this coral

Anyone know what this might be? It is about the size of an eraiser. It felt hard when I put it in the tank. Right now it is in the refugium. I need to know if I should put it high or low in the tank. High Light? Low Light?

Is it `stony coral' hard, or just firm but fleshy?

Most purple stonies like medium to high light. Start medium, then raise it after a week and see if it maintains color.

I can't really tell it is so small. I am leaning towards stony hard.

LOL! It is sitting on a glass shelf about 2" deep in the sump. The bubbles you see are actually trapped under the glass.

Current Tank Info: 105g AquaVim wedge, yellow tang, sailfin blenny,royal gramma, ocellaris clown pair, yellow watchman, 100 microceriths, 25 tiny hermits, a 4" conch, 1" nassarius, recovering from 2 year hiatus with daily water change of 10%.
