Need help W New MH Bulb Install

Ordered a new 14K Phoenix 150W DE HQI bulb. On the instructions it says "The small extruded portion of the outer glass tube should be uppermost". Can someone explain this a little more clearly. When I look at the bulb there is a small bubble or disc on the outer glass but it looks to be directly on the side of the bulb. I do not see how it can be up or down. Help!

its the point that they sealed the bulb at or somthing like that
if it actualy effects the color of the light dependingon what way the bulb aims

This is that "bubble" thats on the inner envelope of the MH bulb. When you screw in the bulb the bubble should be pointing up or of to the side so that you get the most uniform light spread from your bulb. If the bubble is in the way then the light will be pointing of to the side and you'll get less light on the corals.
