Euro Reef CS80 Question

I'm having a sump made for a 90g reef that will use a Euro Reef CS80 skimmer, and I am wondering how high I should keep the water level in the skimmer section of the sump for the ER to work best. I'm figuring about 9-10 inches, but as this is my first time using a ER product, I'm not sure. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
