life reef over flow can any one tell me how much noise .

I owned and am actually selling my Lifereef overflow, and it wasn't that noisy at all. It all depends on how much flow you are trying to shoot through it, but if you tune it (putting a little hose in the middle of the tube, play around with the distances to your sump, and the tubes even inside the overflow itself, you can make it so that it's pretty quiet. External overflows are always a little more noisy than the internal overflows of a reefready tank just simply because they are outside the tank and easier to hear. If you are in the market, you might want to check mine out for sale. Life reef overflow for sale Hope this helps. For what it's worth, I would strongly recommend the Lifereef model. Even if you don't want to go with mine and you buy one new, I really think they are the best external overflows avaiable. (now it sounds like I'm really trying to sell mine. ![]() --Bill
