I am running 2 250w XM 10k on Coralvue e-ballasts. The color is great compared to the Ushio 10k I used to run. My only complaint/concern is the bulbs usually take two or three tries to start whereas the Ushios started first time every time.

i run a AC Jr. for my lights, heaters and fans....so it wouldn't be able to refire them could it?

The ballasts recycle themselves every minute or so until they light. I don't know why but the XM has done this since day one where the Ushio never did. I don't know if this shortens the life of the bulbs or ballast but it has not been a problem yet and the bulbs are 9 months old and ballasts are two years old.
