emerald crabs
ordered emeralds crabs..both showed up and are red color...what is up with that?

There is actually a red emerald crab... apparently its the same thing, eats the same and behaves the same though.

If it has the "scoop" shaped claws, you should be ok.

you have a Mithraculus froceps, instead of a M. sculptus (emerald crab). these are often sold as emeralds, they are from the same family. they do however tend to be more aggresive. so keep your eyes on them.
