marinemom, I just got done with my aquascaping on my 150 with 220lbs of rock. IT can be done.
No matter how long you sit and stare there is no way to picture how it is going to look. This is the dirty part. Turn the heater in the house up Get a bunch of buckets. You need enough to spread the rock out and keep it under water so it doesn't die off. Fill them about half way with water. Take your corals out and put them in your container. Take the rocks out taking note to size and shape. As you put them in the buckets arrange them from small to large and group like shapes. Once you get them all sorted out start with the large rocks to give a good footing. As you go work through the big pieces first then fill in with the small pieces. Each rock should be rotated every which way to find the placement that gives you the largest holes and number of gaps. With that amount of rock it would be a lot easier to do the twin peaks design and make it look good. Caves and shelves are what you are looking for. Don't give up its only a matter of time till you find what you want. I know how frustrating it can be. Trust me i spent about 25 hours over the last week doing aquascaping.
