Lightbulb Halides and power outages...

My power just went out for about 30 sec, and when it came back on, everything started except the 2 x 250 watt MHs. Is this normal? I unplugged it and replugged it and it still would not start. What do i do?
Thanks

It will restart. The ballast just has to cool first. Leave it plugged in and turned on and come back and it should be back on within 10 minutes.

Haha you must live near me in towson md. Did it just happen again?

My halides went off the first time, came back on, went off again. My stupid mag7 return wont come back on unless i take it out of the water, so i keep going back downstairs to restart the da## thing.

Just nitpicking here, but its actually the bulb that has to cool.
