Salinty of 38 to high?
Is a salinity of 37-39 ppt. to high for a FOWLR that I will be starting to add a few soft corals to? I know that a salinity of 34-36 ppt is usually recommended, but I thought I heard a while ago that a bit higher was ok, just not necessary and more expensive because your using more salt.

HIGH SALINITY
good morning Gordonious, in my personal opinion and experience i would not try that method. never heard of it and i have not seen anybody try or do this before, hope this help's...

What method? My tanks are at that I just wasn't sure if that would be bad for corals like the Yellow Gorgonian I just bought. I'm slowly lowing it regardless, but just wasn't sure if I needed to quickly get lower. I figure I'll bring it down 1ppt per day till I get to 36 then let it be at that for a while.
