Coral Beauty eating food from bottom of tank?

I got a new Coral Beauty on Saturday. He isn't eating at feeding time but is constantly picking at the sand and live rock. Tank is almost 7 months old now. Do you you think he is picking food up from the bottom of the tank and eating it?

They graze on microalgae mine does the same thing all day. Mine somtimes is busy swimming through the rocks and wont notice food at first, but once he sees some food he goes straight for it. When he was new he was very shy though so i wouldn't worry about it, just give him some time to adjust to a new home.
