water change
when ur going to add water and salt back in the tank.. now the bucket or whatever u use to put water back in that u let sit over night in your bucker or water with a powerhead in it . should the saltlevel be 1.023 that away when u put it in your saltlevel will be equal.

If you are doing a water change you want to mix up the water to the SG and warm to same temp the day before. If you are topping the evaporated water then you dont have to add salt to the water.

Usually before i do a water change i prepare a trash can full of RO/DI water, a power head to stir it up and a heater. I add enough salt to match 1.025, which is what i keep my tank at. PH should also be the same as my tank water and the same with temperature. I then remove the desired water out of my tank or sump. Then refill it back to the proper level with the new saltwater. This is the basic water change i perform. However i do have a semi-automatic system that makes the chore not really a chore.
