Bloodthirsty Hermits

I put 6 Electric Blue hermits in my tank today, which are really hard to find, and 2 have already beed killed. All their shells are the same size, so I don't understand why they're killing each other. I've never had this problem with hermits before. I've seperated them all until I figure something out. What's going on?

Provide more shells. Feed the more.
The ones I have try to get snails. And sometimes pick on each other.
