Yellow finger leather touching zoo's at night

My very large Yellow Devils Hand Finger Leather coral opens up and stands at attention when the lights are on but droops considerably at night causing some of its fingers to lay or touch a colony of green zoanthids. Neither one seems to mind as they both open up during the day very nice. Any long term problems from this?

Also, the tips of some of the fingers get encrusted with a milky yellowing coating - is this a sign of growth?

Thanks

Brian
