Couple of questions about a 125????
Does anyone here use a Wet-Dry filter for a sump on a 125 or is that way too small and should I just build a sump out of a tank?
Is it possible to move a 125 with all it's substrate in the tank from one stand to another as long as most of the water is out? I want to build another stand. I could add on to the one I have to make it nicer but I'm nervous about driving nails/screws with all that weight on it.

If the power or the pump goes out the sump must be large enough to hold the water flowing down until it stops. Example, a 120 gallon tank will hold 5 gallons per inch of depth. If your overflow is 3 inches below the top your sump must hold 15 gallons.
The second consideration, is the sump large enough to hold the equipment you plan to put in it. Skimmers, heaters, probes, and return pumps for example. The answer to your last question depends on how much help you have and the combined strength of the group. Mike |

I still say use the 125 as your sump for the 75.

The only reason I wan to convert the 125 is so that I can keep the fish I have. I don't want to put the hippo tang and yellow tang in the 75. I like the way the 75 is set-up better but I don't want to loose my fish options.

$7500.00 going to try something else for a bit, maybe another Busa and build a turbo bike who knows. Just want to try something else. Oh and $7500 is under book value not even taking into consideration over $4000.00 in parts...oh...back on topic...lol.
