Fuge ?

I just setup my tank i have a hang on fuge on the back with about 1 - 1 1/2" of sand should i add more? and what about live rock should i defintaly get it? I bought about 25 lbs today but i couldnt find any rock that would fit in the fuge. last ? how soon b4 i add macro? any feed back would be great thanks

I have bare bottom in my fuge, some live rock in the bottom (10 pounds maybe, mostly rubble) and chaeto macro algae, I put the macro algae in within a couple weeks of setting up the tank, it started out a softball size and after 5 months my fuge was totally packed, wall to wall, just took about 15 bags of it out and brought it to a lfs who "bought" it for 2 bux a bag as store credit.
