You could get about 4 small green reef chromis(they are awsome schooling fish, a pair of clowns, gobys, blennys, wrass, yellow tang, whatever you do, dont get any damsels, they are very aggressive towards other fish, and once you put them in your tank, you will have to break it all the way down to get them out! good luck

Thats a no go on the yellow tang, btw. The tank is too small. Also, some people have had problems with chromis killing eachother.
I agree with the clowns, or gobies, blennies... Firefish are cool, purple and red. I also like my orchid dottyback.

the damsel isn't aggressive because it is the only fish.
regal tangs get much too large for the size tank you have. As a matter of fact all tangs get too large for the size tank you have. stick with smaller fish and remove that damsel and take him back to the LFS.

Get rid of that damsel before adding any other fish. They are very agressive buggers. Never met a nice one. CeeGee is right, no tangs at all in a 45. Sorry...

I really like the purple firefish, but you need something over the top of the tank for them as they are jumpers. I would love to have a catalina goby, but we already have a goby, and they will fight. If I were to get a goby again though, that would be the one. The pseudo's are very bright, but can be nasty. Orchid dottyback's are not as aggresive and really cool looking.

the reason i have picked the maroons is because it is the babies and because they are all born female they will pair up. i dont know if thats a gd thing but mabye in the future ill be able to breed them. ill be getting them at 5 pounds each so i think thats pretty cheap.
but if you say they are aggressive then ill have to think about them. i really wanted a pair of clowns hosting in an anemone what are the clowns that arnt aggressive and a gd size not too small and not too big? |

Ocellaris or Percula clowns would be fine, and not too mean.
