I have been running a Gen-X ozone generator and have been quite happy with it. Unlike the Enaly, you can control the amount of ozone it generates. Search on ebay for "ozone gen-x"

I found that the bigger the ozone reactor, the better it works. I finally ended up with a 5 foot by 6 inch diamete pvc pipe and ceramic air stones. With this combo, I smell no ozone in the air or water coming out of the reactor.

Also note: although the ozone is almost certain to be used up before it enters your tank, it does produce bleach, and so the output from the ozone reactor/skimmer really needs to be filtered through carbon before going back into your system.

From Randy’s articles he says ozone has next to no effect on parasites.

Where as UV's has good effect on controlling the spread of parasites...

i think of it as the uv is a better for the fish's health, and 0-3 is more to improve water quality, water clarity, and for corals.

It will not help if the parasite is on the fish. If in the water, it will help others from not getting it.

One of my clowns had Brooklynella and he was in my main tank. No other fish got it while using ozone...

That, at least for me says it does help. Also if you search on this forum you will see the pros/cons and what others have achieved.
