Continuous Water change
Does anyone know about the continuous water change method or know where the link is?

Why wouldn't it? Bacteria grows on the rocks and substrate.

UCSB uses it and their stuff grows great. They also use it in their research facility.
It's all cold water though as that's what we have here. If we were father south around the tropics, then I'd say it was a great idea. Around here though it would be hard to heat the water and then just let it flow back out. Plus I don't think the EPA would allow it. UCSB is not allowed to put anything in the water they use as it flows right back into the ocean. But it does allow them to return any animals they have collected back as they were techinacally always kept in the same ocean water. ![]()
