How Often Do You Change Out Your Carbon?

I know I'm probably going to get numerous different answer here, but I would still like your input. How often do you change your activated carbon? Every week, once a month, every 3 months, etc? Any input appreciated.

The goal is monthly, but in reality it ends up happening every couple months.
