Copepods and Amphipods

Now I see a whole bunch of little shrimp type looking things crawling all over my new substrate. Now they look like little shrimp and they are Very small, maybe 2/8 of an inch long. And one looks like it could be carrying eggs because it is carrying little pink things under this. What could this be?

wouldnt 2/8 be 1/4? anyway sounds like you have mysis shrimps. they are just more free fish food! the pink bellies are infact females. the eggs are in a pouch.

I thought 2/8ths was more like 75/300ths.
