How much uncycled saltwater to add?

I woke up this morning to flood alarms screaming in my basement. Overnight my refugium drain got clogged, the refugium overflowed and my sump ran dry! I am running a 150 gallon Rubbermaid sump, a 50 gallon Rubbermaid frag tank and a 30 gallon fuge. The sump had about 20 gallons of water left, the frag tank had about 30 gallons and the fuge had 30 gallons of water left. So I am only starting out with about 70-80 gallons of cycled water. I am going to have to add another 110-130 gallons of new salt water. The good news is I made 30 gallons of saltwater 2 days ago for a water change I planned today. So I just added that water right in. Will adding over 100 gallons of non cycled saltwater stress anything out to the point of me losing it? The only livestock I have is a fully grown Volitan Lion, some softies and a number of rare Zoo's (PPE's, Safe Cracker's, Armageddon's, God of War's, etc.). I don't have much, but what I have is big, rare and expensive so I do not want to lose it!

Thanks,

Brian

Don't worry - should be fine - those are hardy (even if rare)

If you can - let the new salt cook a day before adding - if you can.

I've noticed sensitivity with animals if you mix the salt and add it right away - at least let it mix for a few hours first.

But... Don't worry - shouldn't be a problem

I'm actually starting to look for exotic zoos too. I'd love to see a pick.

I'd ask Bertoni over in newbies or Randy in chemistry---that's a big, big water change, in effect, and anything over 40% is risky.

Thanks for the input guys. I will post a good pic when I take it. Im in the mist of buying a decent SLR, for that purpose. Randy is MIA until the 9th so I posted the question for Bertoni in the n00bie section. I am so anal when it comes to redundancy. All of my tanks have flood alarms on them and all but my fuge had float switches to kill my pumps if they started to overflow.. It figures this one would overflow! I always have to learn my lesson the hard way!
