Feather caulerpa and tangs

Long and short of it is, will tangs graze on feather caulerpa? I have a powder blue tang in my tank and tons of feather caulerpa growing in my sump and I was curious if I was to attach some to a rock and place it in the tank, would the tang graze on it? Thanks for the help.
