1 tank, two, thre, seven!!!!!

Ok I started with a 9gallon nano tank and I not have a 150 gallon, two 55 gallon tanks, a 40 gallon and three 30 gallon tanks......and now these plans are going through my head to get more cos I wanna breed, breed and breed this and that......

Has this happened to you?

The problem is I don't actually have the cash so my priorities are all messed up. I originally though breeding and fragging corals would support paying for my main reef but that has yet to materialize. The question now is whether to scrap the other ideas and concentrate on my main reef or set them up and slowly do my main reef

I am running out of space here......

i have 4 tanks set up right now, a 20g, 29, and 2 10g's. All dry and stored a 125g in the garage, a 50g rr , a 55 hex a friend is bringing me, 2 10g in the basement. If i had my way they would all be set up. We are looking to move in the next few months and maybe I will get my way!!

I had huge issues today whether to pack them all up.....I just don't seem to be making any progress with my 1.2meter tank so would love to be able to do something but I love having all the other tanks and I know when all the clowns start breeding it will be great

However If I want to keep them I need to upgrade again to neaten the garage to make the space work better

oh the decisions we make!

it's called MTS - Multiple Tank Syndrome!!

Not easily cured, but can be done.

Common symptons include but are not limited to ...

1) No seating area left in your house, it's all tanks

2) Sunday Night Dinner is seen at "Fish Eye View", due to the tank in the middle of your Kitchen table.

3) You search classified ad's in hopes to find your "dream" tank ... for the third time!

4) You could have sworn that you had an extra 10gallon laying around to setup as a QT, but realize you set it up on your night stand for "Reading Light"

5) When your friends come over, at the door you hand out ear plugs for the low DB's from the hum of your pumps and lights!

6) Your electric bill is triple the mortgage payment.

its easiest to focus your attention on one tank at a time. The only way you really can actively spend time and money on multiple tanks is if they are 1) Plumbed together so maintainence is simple 2) You have no job or life outside of reefkeeping :-D 3) You have unlimited funding

haha... yeah i started with the same idea and now its too much trouble and im selling off all my extra tanks and equipment to pay for my one tank. Probably would have been more cost effective to just have one tank
