Fish food is tooooo small its getting sucked up any ideas for a better fish food?

I was reccomended some Spectrum Thera A for small fish by New life by the fish store. It is supposed to be sinking but its not it just floats around and immediately gets sucked up by the skimmer. Any thoughts on whats a good food for my two yellow tail damsels? I want something they can eat that will not get sucked up right away. I dont want to start getting tons of uneaten food in the back of my tank.

Soak the food in a cup of water a little while until it sinks, then put it in the tank.

Frozen cyclopeeze is excellent for small fish---again, you have to turn off the pump, but most things in the tank appreciate this food.

Yeah i just shut off my pumps before feeding. I find that this alerts my fish that its feeding time as well.

You can also put a tube partially into the water. You can then put flake or pellets in there on top of the water surface. The fish either eat it from the surface or wait until it comes down into the water column. This way it won't get sucked up by any surface skimming device. Spectrum pellet food seems to be liked by most fish.
