Foxface maybe? Sailfin Tang? I think if it gets too long, they are less likely to eat it. Do you have any Turbo Snails?

Do you mean the Court Jester goby?

In Liveaquaria.com it says that the fish is omnivore and eats mysid, brine shrimps, algae and small crustaceans..

Do you think it will eat Hair algae too ?

Quote from liveaquaria: "The diet should consist of small crustaceans, such as live and frozen brine shrimp, mysid shrimp, as well as filamentous algae." The filamentous algae will be ate first from my experience with these fish, primarily hair algae. Once the hair algae is gone, the fish may run out of food, making it a difficult fish to keep.

Guys I have 2 questions to ask.

1/ Is the Court Jester goby reef safe and a good decision to add him to keep bad alage in control in a 180g tank with some community fish and soft corals ?

2/ Guys everyone says that Sea hare are good for eating bad alage like hair algae but many sites say that they can release a purple dye to repel attacking fish in the home aquarium, and for sure I think this can cause problems right ?

I've had sea hares ink and nothing happened. Scared the crap out of me... carbon cleared it right up, no fatalities. LFS had one die and it just stank, didn't cause a crash. (got sucked in a powerhead intake). I since got rid of it though because it was too darn big for my rock tank.
Problem with lawnmowers is they starve to death when the algae is gone... won't take dried or frozen.
Conchs work great. Cheap, cool to watch. Reef safe. bristle toothed tangs like Tominis, Koles, Chevrons. They're good at ridding a tank of diatoms too. Sailfin Tangs, but they're only happy in a smaller tank for so long, since they hit around 17 inches adult size. Rainfords goby is different from court jester goby... both striped, both reef safe, but one likes to live in groups, the other is a territorial antisocial sucker. Wouldn't recommend either if you're planning on dragonets or slow sifters.
