Protein Skimmer that will fit over a 5 inch lip?

Hi. I have a 75g acrylic tank that I would like to put a hang-on skimmer on. The problem is that I need to mount it on the side of the tank and the tank has a 5 inch lip that most skimmers (including my old CPR Backpak) wont reach over. If anyone know of a skimmer that will work in this situation please let me know. Thanks.

A typhoon will hang over a large lip. Cost about $80-$90. I have one and I can't manage to get it set correctly but you might have better luck. It will skim fairly well and it should work for your situation.

You can also extend the inlet / outlet pipes of the Deltec MCE600 if needed as they exit the skimmer horizontally.

I've seen the outlet pipe extended to take it to the other end of a tank before. Sound idea.....
