I won't give any suggestions here since it's up for endless debate as always lol.
I will say though that quality seems to be a big deal when it comes to PC lighting especially. I tried one of the oriental manufacturers who had lights for almost have the cost (replacement lights). The problem was the quality seemed to be almost half as well. I did have good luck consistently with Coralife bulbs and the best performance with my JBJ 4x96 on my 90 gallon was: 2- 10000K 2- 10000K/actinic 03 |

I tried sunpaq's but they seemed way to white for my tastes.
The Coralifes I got at That Pet Place since it's only a nice country drive from me. www.thatpetplace.com |

Sorry I posted 4x96 earlier, it was actually 4x65.
It's actually a great store to visit and shop at. Almost all of there help in the fish area has a very good working knowledge of freshwater, brackish and marine life. Many are even Marine Biologists. I've been going there for 25 years and the pricing and selection are second only to Marine Depot. There lighting area alone is the size of a LFS and they've got almost anything and everything you could possibly need. |

I personally like the blue line bulbs. My coralife bulbs seemed to change color after a month every time I bought new ones.
I had 3 - 96 watt PC bulbs on my tank and the combo I used was 2 - 10K's and 1 - actinic. |
