Decsion time..
Ive posted once before asking about diffrent protein skimmers and these are some of the ones that I need to decide on. I had a tough time because I only have room for a 10 X 7 inch footprint. But again I ask which one would you use?
AquaC Urchin PRO Sump Skimmer w/ Rio 1400 pump Won Protein Skimmer up to 300g CU-300 Octopus NW-110 Needle-Wheel Protein Skimmer Super Skimmer with NeedleWheel up to 125 gal. by Coralife AP-SERIES Air Powered Protein Skimmers by Precision Marine Or any others I missed that would fit in a 10 X 7 inch area? |

I would use the Needle wheel Super skimmer, Mine works great. Then again that is the only skimmer I have used out of your list.

I would vote against the AquaC Urchin. I had one and it did not pull enough stuff out for me. I bought the ASM G-3 and it does a better job.

60 gallons with a few more gallons in the sump.
All I am planning on keeping is a pair of clowns, an anenome, and live rock. |

Check this out. Hope this helps.
http://www.coralreefsupply.com/index...le=skimmers_ac http://www.championlighting.com/prod...cat=517&page=1 http://www.championlighting.com/prod...cat=526&page=1 These are some others that I researched. May be a little high for what you are looking for, but you just might get that one morning when you wake up and decide to throw some corals in there. But, for that footprint, this was all I could find. George |
