Another Korallin Reactor setup question

Hi folks - finally setting this thing up. For some reason this is the most stressful thing I've ever added to the tank. I am afraid that if done wrong all is lost.

I am following Dragon_Slayers document which is clear - but it also appears to be the opposite of what Korallin provides.

I am feeding it with a lifting pump. Dragon has #2 as Entluftung and #1 is Ausgang. (same as Korallin instructions). So, #2 comes directly out of the top and #1 is off the pump.

Dragon'sinstructions have me setting the drip count by closing #1 and opening #2 to 40 DPM. Korallin indicates to drip out of #1 of 40 DPM and set #2 to 1-2 drops per minute.

Confused - can someone clarify? I know Dragon_Slayer directions are the "standard" by which many have set it up. Am I reading it wrong?
