Question Alk and calicium ??

I have alk levels at 4.57 and calicium at 400ppm, now i read a artivle waterkeeper sent me and came to the conclusion that i could raise the calicium and then let them both drop saflty? since alk is high relative to calicium, is that a good conclusion or did i misunderstand
