Quick Question on drilled holes for closed loop

Hi I have decided to get my new 120 gal 48X24X25 tank drilled
for a Dart early next week and have a couple of questions

Since the Dart has a 2 inch intake I would like to put in a 2 inch bulkhead in the tank as opposed to 2 1.5 inch - Good choice?.

Also what's the best place to put the bulkhead for the
closed loop and should I be using a heavy duty bulkhead for this?

I intend to use the following strainer http://www.aquaticeco.com/index.cfm/.../8566/cid/2098 mmm I wonder if I should I be getting a 1.5 inch strainer ?

Thanks

As far as the bulkhead goes, I would deff go with sch 80 (dark gray) the seal seems to be a better quality. The stregth isn't really important since there's really no pressure, but the seal is DEFF important so it doesn't leak. Just be sure to hand tighten and not over-tighten as this will cause it to leak as well. I haven't drilled my CL yet but have been told to put it about half way up the tank if you are putting it in the back like I am..

So I guess the black ones are sch 40? Does sch 80 mean heavy duty at least thats what Marine depot etc advertise

Yea. It correlates to the strength of the PVC used. The white stuff you are probably more accustomed to seeing is sch 40, not sure on the black. The higher the number the stronger it is, not like my golf score

... I don't believe color corresponds, necessarily, to strength (the higher the schedule #, the thicker the material) so always check the # if it's important to you.
